Who we are

An established channel, from farm gate to export.

Agribora Company Limited is a Tanzanian tobacco wholesale trader based in Tabora — the heart of the country's tobacco belt.

We occupy a clear place in the value chain. We buy quality leaf from licensed growers and primary cooperative societies, and supply it onward to processors and exporters — working entirely through the regulated cooperative channel, in accordance with Tanzania Tobacco Board requirements. Beyond tobacco, we trade a growing portfolio of Tanzanian agricultural commodities.

Why partners choose us

For buyers who can't afford surprises.

Four commitments hold every season together — and they are the reason processors and cooperatives keep coming back.

Regulatory compliance

We operate within the Tanzania Tobacco Board framework and the Tobacco Industry Act, Cap. 366 — every transaction documented and accountable.

Cooperative sourcing

We buy through AMCOS and registered cooperatives — a transparent, traceable supply chain from a named society back to the field.

Regional presence

Based in Tabora, at the centre of the tobacco belt, close to the growers we work with — not a desk three regions away.

Reliable delivery

Consolidation and on-schedule supply, sized to meet each buyer's quality and volume requirements, season after season.

Beyond the harvest

Every season should leave the land better than it found it.

Tobacco curing depends on wood fuel, and Tanzania's regulations rightly require growers to replant. We take that seriously.

We support our partner farmers' tree-planting obligations and are launching Agribora's own reforestation programme — so that every season we trade gives back more than it takes.

Compliance & credentials

Licensed, compliant, accountable.

Agribora trades wholesale tobacco in accordance with Tanzania Tobacco Board requirements — licensed, documented, and accountable on every transaction.
